The present book is an attempt to teach Persian language to those interested in learning this language from scratch. The book is intended for a variety of audiences ranging from children to adults with different backgrounds and purposes. The book is divided into 10 lessons, each of which contains a short conversation followed by a table presenting the colloquial or informal terms and expressions used in the conversation. A grammatical point is also discussed in detail, and a comprehension section is presented after that. As the text in the comprehension section is accompanied by an audio file, it can be used for both listening and reading comprehension.
